Leadership Roles
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board members are comprised of experienced executives to periodically
serve and advise on issues related to the Council’s mission.
National Committee
This is a national leadership role within the Council. The purpose is to increase
awareness of the Council and litigation management best practices by working with
insurance companies, claims organizations and service providers. Both Fellows and
Members are eligible for a National Committee role and the committee is comprised
of twelve positions. For additional details, please contact Adam Potter at

State Chair
This is a state leadership role within the Council. The purpose is assist in the
development and growth of the Council, and foster communications locally. State
Chairs will also establish and monitor CLM Strategic Affiliations for state and
local organizations/associations. State Chairs receive direction from the Council
and are encouraged to work with Chairs from other states. Both Fellows and Members
are eligible for a State Chair role and there are two to five positions available
in each state. The time commitment is one to two hours monthly. If you would like

International Chair
This is an international leadership role within the Council. The purpose is assist
in the development and growth of the Council, and foster communications locally.
International Chairs will recommend Fellows, nominate Members and make associations
for potential strategic affiliations. International Chairs receive direction from
the Council’s Executive Director and are encouraged to work with Chairs from other
International locales. Both Fellows and Members are eligible for an International
Chair role and there are two to five positions available in each area. The time
commitment is one to two hours monthly. To volunteer or learn more about the International
